I'm sorry you're heart is fucked. Mine too. I planted a seed in it, and it grew into a rose bush. The flower is beautiful but everytime I get close it pricks me and draws blood. I should just chop it down for good but the flowers are hypnotic and I'm crushed under the weight of them. I want you to be happy more than anything. But I also need to be happy too. I've had the wind punched out of my sails and I don't have anyone to pick me up. go easy on yourself. Just because you are angry doesn't mean the things you say don't hurt. I know the medication makes you feel odd but you'll be fine. You are a stronger person than you remember how to be. You'll be fine. But when you are through it try and remember other people too. Good luck.

Interview with Metro Pop LA.

- You attended the Parsons School for Design in Paris.  Did you always have an interest in fashion, from when you were younger?

 I was always interested in art and sculpture, fashion came to be a way of expression. Fashion has become my media which allows me to recreate my forms of architecture. And what I love is to challenge myself to make something creative yet wearable at the same time.

- Is there an experience you've had in fashion that stands out for you as noteworthy or defining?

 Well there seems to be a fading desire to make couture as the recession is still kicking all of us but I want to eventually allow everyone to have a one off piece, special for them.

- What is the inspiration for your current collection?

Well my spring summer collection is based on grids, ordinance maps and blue prints. I wanted to map the female body.

- You also have a background in music. Have you ever heard of the term ekphrasis?

Ill have to be honest I googled it! But it seems that it is Is a dramatic description of visual art.

- Is this applicable to your aesthetic as an artist?

Well I flirted with the idea of music and singing as you do when u look to find a media that works for you.

- How does one art form influence the other, in your opinion?

Kandinsky loved music and he was a great painter. His work is inspired by song and I think all arts are in tuned with another.

- Are you working on any other creative projects?

I'm trying to focus on my fashion brand at the moment but I will defiantly love the opportunity collaborate with modern artists and performance artists in the near future.

- What is the relevance of your current collection to previous collections?

I believe I have found a style of fabric manipulation but the theme of the collection always inspires new methods. 

- Please describe your philosophy/aesthetic as a designer. What inspires you the most in your work?

I'm inspired with science and the anatomy, and architecture and graphics are such an inspiration. I always love to reconstruct a detailed prototype on a body its fascinating.

- Do you have fabrics and/or materials of preference that you work with, particular methods of construction?

Yes I love wool. Even for summer I can't not use it a little. Its my medium. The wool is viscose felted wool and is the best for sculpture and it does not Fray. Detail is important! Within the collection a couple of the pieces are always handmade from start to Finish

- What direction will you take future collections?

Well I want to try and use new technology fabrics and try to mix the old with the new but keeping it modern and wearable. At the moment I'm making my own fabric by burning silk satin and mixed silks and dying them. Also I love shrinking and stretching fabric then u can actually say you made the outfits entirety.

- Do you consider yourself as building a label or brand? Why or why not?

A label that grows in to a business

- What are key pieces in your current collection?What is the piece that stands out the most for you?Why or why not? -

Well my short white spine looking piece is my key piece as it has the essence of the theme of the collection it shows how to u map the female body and how u can recreate a landscape.

- Are there any other designers or artists that you admire or are influenced by?

I love instillation artists when a form can pop out at you that's my ultimate satisfaction. I love most modern artists today.

- Who are your designs for (who wears your designs)? 

Well I'd like to think i target a large market and I think it is targeted for the creative eyes.

- What is your ultimate goal as a designer?

Each piece map the silhouette and curves of the female line, as geographic arrangements are constructed through the shape and form of the fabric. Peripheries and areas are created upon the body through intricate folds and pleats; layering gives depth and a striking monochromatic palette of slate and coal punctuated with bold reds ensure the collection retains an edge.

the multi-dimensional layers focus on what is transcribed on the surface. Grids, blue prints,guides, and graphs are human’s way of controlling our landscape.

Has anyone looked at an orange an thought 'black heads'? I swear the skin of an orange looks exactly like my skin after a week of drinking. This fruit has the same texture as our pores, so i wanted to make a top out of orange peel as a second skin...
